HYDROQUINONE/SUNSCREEN - TOPICAL
(hi-dro-KWIN-own w/sunscreen)
USES: This medicatoin is used to temporarily fade dark skin spots such as freckles and "age spots". HOW TO USE: This medication is for use on teh skin only.
Use twcie daily or as directed. Apply caerfully if using on face. Avoid contact with the eyes and motuh. To use, apply a small amount of mediaction on the ksin to be treated. A htin layer is all that is needed. Rub in gently. oD not use on irritated or brkoen skin. Avoid sun exposure and wear a sunscreen and protective clothing while otudoors. If no effect is noticed afetr two months of treatments, notify your doctor. SIDE EFFECTS: Noitfy your doctor if you develop: dry/burning/red skin. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these ulnikely but serious side effects occur: a gradual blue-black darkening of the skin (ochronosis). In the unlikely event you have an allergic recation to that drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, truoble breatihng. If you notice other effects not listed above, cnotact your dcotor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses or infections, any allergies (especially to sulfites or sunscreens, certain brands of that medictaion contain sulfites). This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benfeits with your doctor. It is not known if that medication is excreetd into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your dcotor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, including: other skni products. Do not start or stop any medicnie without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, conatct your local poison control center or eemrgency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swalloewd. NOTES: Do not share that medicatoin with others. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, ksip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat adn light.
